An Early Spring?

Just to update everyone on my personal snow hell...

My husband was able to come home a day early from his business trip to avoid the possible snow tonight. Thank God!

This picture was taken two days ago. That's my mailbox.

Water has breached the perimeter. I noticed last night a big water stain on the ceiling inside Grace's closet.

Today my husband plans on trying to get as much snow and ice off the roof as possible. This means climbing up a ladder (that's resting in snow) and precariously chipping away at snow and ice two stories above the ground. predicts snow 4 out of the next 10 days.

That stupid groundhog can take his prediction and shove it where his shadow don't shine!

  1. Now THAT'S a lot of snow... wow! Hope you guys catch a break soon!

  2. OMG - I am so sorry. I heard a big NorEaster is headed our way this upcoming week. Hearing about it made me want to cry. I just figure it will make me appreciate sitting on 14th Street beach better come July and August right?! Sending you warm thoughts to melt that snow!!!

  3. WOW!!! That is flippin crazy!!!

Stay warm and safe my friend, I hope your husband is safe as he attempts to clear off that snow. Good luck.

  4. ACK! I'll say a prayer that he gets that snow off your roof and stays safe....and some sunshine to melt it would probably help too!

  5. Ah yeah...I am worried about your hubby! That souds dicey for sure. I am about to lose it too...I think we are in the same boat. We have snow berms that are like 6 feet high around the rink...and more snow...another 10 inches tonight!

  6. Oh my word, Pam!! Stay warm and tell your husband to be careful!!!

  7. Ahhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahaha! I can laugh; I mean I have the RIGHT to laugh since this was us last winter. Spring did arrive and oh what a mess it was.

    Careful hubby!!!!!
