Hahahahahahaha! A wonderment, for certain. Kind of like an umbilical cord! I am alwasy amazed when babies are born with knots, twists and turns in their cord. Goes back to your newborn theory, eh?
LOL! I just saw one of these beuties yesterday, but the knot was TIGHT. I almost couldn't get it undone, and marveled at the fact that J's BG was 90. How was he getting insulin with such a tight knot? Pumps are magical.
I'm the mom of three beautiful children, the oldest of who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 1/23/09. I recently went back to work, so now have to learn how to be a mom, pancreas, AND full time employee. Can I do it? Not without the help of my wonderful husband!
